  • Christian Aid Exhibition - I Witness: Images of Hope from Haiti

    Monday 2 March 2015 to Thursday 19 March 2015
    • In 2010, Haiti was devastated by a massive earthquake. But the spirit of its people remained unbroken. Five years on, they are reclaiming their lives and building a better future.

The I Witness exhibition is a beautiful collection of images and artwork showing the life-changing work taking place in Haiti today, as witnessed by three of our supporters.

Kathy Margaret and Naomi, are all Christian Aid supporters, and either they or their loved ones have included Christian Aid in their wills. They took a trip to Haiti to see for themselves whether gifts of this kind really do have an impact on our world.

You will see some of the extraordinary work Christian aid is undertaking with our partners there and meet some of the inspirational people who are rebuilding their lives in the face of the most overwhelming odds.

    • Christian Aid works in some of the world's poorest communities in around 50 countries at any one time. We act where there is great need, regardless of religion, helping people to live a full life, free from poverty. We provide urgent, practical and effective assistance in tackling the root causes of poverty as well as its effects.

Our core belief is that the world can and must be changed so that poverty is ended: this is what we stand for. Everything we do is about ending poverty and injustice: swiftly, effectively, sustainably.

Christian Aid is a member of the ACT Alliance, a global coalition of more than 130 churches and church-related organisations that work together in humanitarian assistance, advocacy and development.
